Background

This project site near residential area was prone to flooding as a result of high tide flow from the upstream area. Maccaferri Gabions was selected as the ideal solution to protect the stream bank from further scouring. Additionally, due to the flexibility of the modular elements, Reno Mattress® was used to line the river bed which allows settlements to occur without compromising the lining integrity.
