Background

Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Bridge, or commonly known as Sungai Kebun Bridge is an iconic structure for Brunei as it is the first ever cable-stayed bridge the country has ever constructed. The bridge has become Brunei’s new landmark. The beautifully designed bridge sits at the heart of Bandar Seri Begawan spanning over the famous Kampung Ayer (Water Village) also known as the Eastern Venice, linking Mukim Lumapas and the capital. With the operation of this newly built bridge, it is expected to ease traffic congestion for daily commuters between Lumapas and Bandar Seri Begawan.
