Background

Forta-Ferro® means “Strong as Steel” has a unique blend of advanced fibres and it has the capability to replace steel reinforcement for application in a nonsuspended concrete slab and pavements. In this particular project, Forta-Ferro® allows thickness reduction in concrete pavement driveway to 50mm without the requirement of conventional wire mesh or steel reinforcement resulting in cost savings. Forta-Ferro® is mixed with concrete for added strength and it provides three dimensional coverage into every cubic centimeter of the concrete and allows the fibre to distribute uniformly reinforcing in every cracks and stress emerge.
