Background

Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas / Eco-corridor was established in 2017 in conjunction to the Golden Jubilee of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah’s accession to the throne as the 29th and current Sultan of Brunei. The introduction of more urban green spaces motivated the contractor involved to use Forta® synthetic fibres reinforcement in replacing the conventional steel reinforcement in pavement for walkway or pedestrian use. By using Forta-ferro® macro synthetic fibres, no labor was needed to place the steel reinforcement. The fibres are easily mixed and placed on site, reducing cost incurred on the time of transporting the reinforcement and setting up the formwork altogether.
