Background

This 18.636km long highway changed the way commuters travel from Bandar to Kuala Belait. The previous route in- between Bandar and Kuala Belait had a long single lane spanning across Labi and Sungai Liang; and had very high congestion during rush hours. This new highway was constructed to ease traffic and reduce the commuting time between the two districts. Our TenCate Polyfelt® TS filter cloths were used as a soil separator for the road whilst the TenCate Polyfelt® Envirofelt and Envirocell were used for the slope and embankment.
