Project Description:
The project aims to upgrade Jalan Kg Batong to better support heavy vehicle traffic, improving goods transportation and road user safety. To achieve this, Tensar TriAx® geogrids were used to stabilize the road base by interlocking with aggregates and distributing loads more effectively. Their hexagonal design enhances ground strength, reduces deformation, and boosts overall road performance.
Ideal for unpaved roads, TriAx® geogrids also enable thinner aggregate layers, cutting construction costs and environmental impact. Their use in this project highlights a commitment to durable, cost-efficient, and sustainable infrastructure solutions.
