Project Description: 

The project aims to upgrade Jalan Kg Batong to better support heavy vehicle traffic, improving goods transportation and road user safety. To achieve this, Tensar TriAx® geogrids were used to stabilize the road base by interlocking with aggregates and distributing loads more effectively. Their hexagonal design enhances ground strength, reduces deformation, and boosts overall road performance.

Ideal for unpaved roads, TriAx® geogrids also enable thinner aggregate layers, cutting construction costs and environmental impact. Their use in this project highlights a commitment to durable, cost-efficient, and sustainable infrastructure solutions.

Project Description: 

In 2022, the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam stabilized the subgrade of an unpaved car park using Triax geogrid. Its triangular design provided multi-directional reinforcement, improving aggregate interlock, load distribution, and soil stability. The solution reduced material usage, lowered costs, and required no specialized labor. The project delivered a durable, low-maintenance parking area, showcasing the effectiveness of Triax geogrid in modern construction.

As part of efforts to upgrade the Agricultural Development Area (KKP), road improvement works incorporated Tensar TriAx® Geogrids for subgrade stabilization and nonwoven geotextiles for separation and filtration. TriAx® Geogrids provide superior aggregate interlock and load distribution, outperforming traditional biaxial geogrids. Their use enhances pavement strength, supports heavy vehicle traffic, and improves long-term durability. Easy to install and cost-effective, TriAx® Geogrids reduce the need for aggregate and skilled labor, making them a practical solution for efficient and profitable road construction.
