Project Description:
Pylon No. 39, located 11m from the edge of a steep, 31m high eroding slope, required a slope protection solution that addressed difficult access and site sensitivity. Traditional methods like bored piles and vegetated mats were unsuitable due to the slope's steepness and hardness. Concrete Canvas ® was chose for its fast installation and minimal machinery needs. The project was completed in 21 days by a 10-person team, including skilled climbers for safety.

Project Description:
Tasek Merimbun, a key cultural and environmental site in Brunei, faced serious erosion threatening the safety of its structures. To prevent potential closure and preserve the site, Concrete Canvas® was chosen to address erosion under the building, especially in shaded areas.
The use of Concrete Canvas® batched rolls enabled quick, efficient installation and offered a durable, flexible solution for slope protection. As a concrete-impregnated fabric that hardens when hydrated, it forms a strong, waterproof, and fire-resistant layer, ideal for erosion control. Its fast installation, low equipment needs, and sustainability make it a cost-effective, long-term solution aligned with modern conservation standards.

The Canopy Walk in Ulu Temburong National Park faced erosion threats due to its steep hillside location. To protect the slope, Concrete Canvas® CC5 was used for its high durability, chemical resistance, and ease of installation in remote areas. CC5 offers long-term erosion control, with a lifespan of over 120 years, making it a reliable and sustainable solution for preserving the site's stability.
