Project Description: 

To protect the flood-prone Baiduri Bank Branch in Kuala Belait, a Flood Barrier Panel System was installed as a preventive measure against high tides and extreme weather. The Buffalo Flood Barrier System was chosen for its quick deployment, watertight design, and ease of dismantling and storage. Suitable for both residential and commercial properties, it offers a reusable, practical, and durable solution for flood protection, enhancing the site's resilience against future water-related threats.

Project Description: 

In response to severe flooding caused by continuous heavy rainfall in 2019, particularly affecting areas like Gadong, Menglait, and Berakas—including the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry (AITI)—a flood prevention solution was implemented at the AITI premises in 2022.

To prevent water ingress into the building, the Buffalo Heavy Duty Flood Barrier System was installed at key entry and exit points. This robust aluminium barrier system is designed for both short- and long-term protection against floodwaters. The solution involved ground preparation, installation of baseplates level with the existing surface, sealing of vertical side channels, and deployment of watertight barrier panels.

The Buffalo system is modular, demountable, and easy to deploy and dismantle, making it a practical and reliable flood defence for critical facilities like AITI.
