In 2023, a green car park at Kg Sg Tilong incorporated the Megaflo® flat panel subsoil drainage system to manage underground water effectively. Chosen for its high strength and performance, Megaflo® ensures rapid drainage, prevents waterlogging, and supports long-term durability beneath paved surfaces. Its shallow installation design lowers excavation costs and environmental impact, making it a cost-effective and sustainable drainage solution.

In 2024, Scout HQ enhanced their field and stage with improved landscaping and drainage. Originally planned with a sump, the design switched to Geofabrics Megaflo®️ for safety and efficiency.

Installed at 5-meter intervals, Megaflo®️ provided fast, effective drainage without deep trenching. Its roll format allowed for quick two-day installation, while the perforated HDPE core wrapped in bidim geotextile ensured optimal water flow and filtration.

Compared to traditional pipes, Megaflo®️ offers higher inflow capacity and easier installation—making it a cost-effective, reliable solution for landscaping.

Project Description: 

Before installing the Megaflo® subsoil drainage system at the Civil Service Institute, the site suffered from frequent surface water ponding due to a high water table, causing slippery and unsafe conditions.

To resolve this, Megaflo® flat-panel drains wrapped in Polyfelt geotextile were installed in trenches with clean aggregates, efficiently redirecting groundwater to a sump and then to the main drain. The system prevents clogging and ensures long-term performance.

Following backfilling and asphalt resurfacing, the area now enjoys effective drainage, improved safety, and a more durable surface.
