Project Description:
In 2024, major landscaping upgrades were carried out at Scout HQ to improve the newly developed field and stage area. The original plan involved installing a sump to resolve water ponding issues, but due to safety concerns, an alternative approach was required.
The Geofabrics Megaflo®️ subsoil drainage system was selected as a safer and more efficient solution, eliminating the need for a central sump. Laid at 5-meter intervals, it provided fast and effective drainage, successfully preventing water buildup.
Installation was completed in just two days, aided by Megaflo®️’s convenient roll format which simplifies handling and placement. Its structure—a perforated HDPE core enclosed in bidim nonwoven geotextile—ensures excellent filtration and water movement, minimizing the risk of clogging and enhancing long-term performance.
Unlike conventional round pipes, Megaflo®️ delivers superior inflow and drainage rates while requiring shallower trenching, resulting in significant savings on excavation, labor, and materials—making it a smart choice for landscaping applications.
